Richmond Dales Swimming Club is excited to launch our brand new underwater camera analysis service for competitive swimming and triathlon.
Underwater camera analysis gives swimmers and coaches the opportunity to see technique from below the surface, helping to identify the small details that are often invisible from above the water. This service supports swimmers to improve body position, stroke efficiency, underwater phases, turns and overall technique, helping them sharpen performance and gain those all-important improvements in swim times.
Our sessions are suitable for competitive swimmers, triathletes and clubs who want to maximise their competitive edge through clear footage, expert coaching feedback and practical technical support.
Each session includes access to underwater camera equipment, footage from the session and coach feedback from a Richmond Dales coach trained in using the underwater analysis equipment. For club visits, we can also support your coaching staff to understand how the technology works and how the footage can be used to support swimmer development.
Individual and multi-swimmer sessions are available at Catterick Leisure Centre for up to three swimmers.
A 30-minute session costs £75.
A 60-minute session costs £125.
These sessions focus on underwater phases, stroke technique and turns, and include both coach feedback and footage.
We also offer club visit sessions within one hour of Catterick or Richmond. These sessions last three hours and cost £495.
Club visit sessions include the coach, underwater camera equipment and footage from the session, giving your club the opportunity to bring underwater analysis directly into your own training environment.
This service is ideal for clubs looking to enhance coaching visibility, support swimmer development and provide athletes with a clearer understanding of how their technique can improve beneath the surface.
