The Iain Young Back to Pool Gala 2022

Come and join us for the first swimming gala of the 2022/2023 season!
Our Back to Pool gala was established in 2012 and was formally held in Durham but moved to it’s new home in Middlesbrough in 2015 and has grown in popularity over the years and kicks off the swimming season in style!
The gala was renamed in 2021 in memory off stalwart volunteer, North East official and dear friend Iain Young. We want to make sure that Richmond Dales ASC keep his legacy alive by hosting this gala in his memory!
The gala has all the usual 50, 100 and 200 races but also includes 400 IM and 400 free (places are limited), but the most popular event is the Skins – swimmers can win cash prizes and the over all winner gets a special trophy to keep

Time: 0800 – 1700 hrs
Venue: Neptune Centre, Ormesby Road, Berwick Hills, Middlesbrough TS3 7RP
Long Course – Level 3
Entries open at 0800hrs on Monday 1st August 2022
This is a ‘first come, first served’ Gala. Entries open at 0800hrs on Monday 1st August 2022 and will close once the Gala is full or at 1900hrs on M
